Supplier List

I am starting to put together a supplier list for Challenger/E-Body parts. The goal of this supplier list is twofold; to put in one place all of the different small companies out there that make one-off or hard to find parts(R/T Specialties, etc.), and to list the best prices for stuff from the big name companies (Year One, Paddock).

I got bagged by high prices more times than I care to remember when buying restoration parts, and there are items I've gone without, or reproduced myself, that I didn't even know were available until well after the fact. Just browsing through the message board over the past couple of years, I've come across a lot of specialty websites that I would have never found otherwise.

I'm not sure how I am going to format this information, but the idea is to have it all in a post on the message board, or maybe a downloadable excel file. It would be a list of suppliers and what they offer (for the small companies.) For big companies like Year One, I would only list items that were difficult to find or that very competitive prices. I have spent god knows how many hours googling different challenger parts and doing research to find the best quality and price, and I want to write as much of this information down, so it's less of a struggle for people on the board to buy a part when the time comes.

If you know of any small-time, reputable companies making E-body stuff, send me a message and I will add the information to the list. Also, any ideas on how to easily organize this information would be welcome! I should have a bare-bones list up in the next week or so.

Some time ago, I tried to do something similar myself. You will find the result here:

Maybe you can get some inspiration/ideas from it? :?
Good luck! :D

Problem with that post was it is not obvious from the thread title what is in there.

I think a specific suppliers list with a description next to each entry describing what they offer would be a good thing if that is what Dylan is suggesting.

 I had actually looked at your list once, christer, but I forgot that it was more than just clubs...thanks for the tip!

I am not going to bother with sites devoted to drivetrain stuff, (like 440source), at least not right away. That would overwhelm me and it wouldn't be too helpful. So body, electrical, interior, etc. is primarily what this list will be showing. And now I am off to spend several hours looking through christer's list!

Thanks everyone!

Mopar Collectors Guide carries a lot of small Mopar-specific vendors. You may want to peruse a copy.

My thoughts too Barc, but there are always some unscrupulous individuals on there, plus a few that are in business one issue and out of business the next. It would be nice to have a 'list' as Dylan suggested followed by a customer satisfaction response. I've dealt with some of the best and the worst!

And a great idea it was! Lots of interior, exterior, supply shops for special paints, suspension components, Decals&Emblems, a lot of N.O.S. if you have the coinage. ectt
