Gas Price's and Weather

Postby patrick » 19 Dec 2008 16:08

Hey Guy's, how's your gas price and, weather doing for you? Super Unleaded here is, $1.99, a gallon. Best price, I've seen since the early 90's. Sucks though since, I won't get the Chally out, for quite a while. We have been getting buried in snow. Forcast for tomorrow is, several feet in the Columbia River Gorge. With that turning to freezing rain, later in the week. I'm probably not going to be home, for Christmas. :s005: :frown: :rage:
At least I will be able to make some home's warm for other's. :D

$1.69/Gall. for 87 unleaded. E-85 is now more expensive. at 1.89/Gall. it's 17 degrees F. outside with 30 MPH winds and a near 0 windchill and 1/2" of ice on the ground. My Chocolate Lab Hershey loves it. I cant take it at all, sometimes I wont even leave the house for a few days. :frown: Cmon,, summer!! The R/T is asleep...

My sister in, Dallas,Fort Worth said, she got gas for $1.48, the other day. And, I hear you can get it as cheap as $1.29, in Sundance, Wyoming. :s008:
What's going on guy's? :| How long, do they dangle the carrot then, rip it away and, charge us $5.00, a gallon?
I hear that they are going to shut down, some refineries to, bring up the worth of oil.

We have pretty okey price on the 95octane for now, about 2,64$ / u.s gallon
(approx 10Sek / Liter) Too bad these prices never keeps during spring..

They always rice the prices summertime (approx 3,96$ / u.s gallon during summer) :s001:

About 15 Fahrenheit i think. (-9Celsius) tons of snow. I really, really hate winter! :s006:

I wish you all a merry christmas & hope you get good holidays...

Where Dave lives, if you own a proper coat, you're considered effeminate.

True thing.

Gasoline went up to $1.99 this past week from $1.87. Some Holiday cheer for the consumers or maybe a new tax added. California is in dire straights budget wise. Vehicle registration just went up 22%. For what??

Temp is 30-50F. Not too bad, and we are finally getting more rain. 2.5" so far this year.

You are an outdoorsman Botari? 100 miles in the snow it must have been fun. Any tails from the trail?

It's been raining here, for the last two day's. Still, four to six, foot drift's melting in my yard. I did make it home for Christmas, at six A.M., after a twenty-four hour, shift. Had to shovel snow, to get my car a little bit, off the street. Missed the inlaw Christmas, Christmas eve but, shared our family Christmas after I woke up, at 1:30, Christmas day. :s008: :D Been a long time since, I slept in that much.

100_3215.jpg
Here's some freakin' snow
100_3216.jpg
100_3217.jpg
There's the Volare'. Thought it was a snow drift before, this morning.
100_3219.jpg
100_3221.jpg
Mandy's car is still a snow drift.

Man, Pat! You guys arent used to getting that much snow are you? Usually rain this time of year right. We just had an inch of ice at 5 degrees F. not complianing, everyone to the north of us recieved 3-5" of solid ice. I despise winter!! I bet Ryley has much fun it, my Lab Hershey wants to go for his daily walks but I dont go if it gets below freezin, glad to hear you made it home for the holiday.

No Eddie, we're not. I don't think we've got this much snow since 1980. But, the ice. :worry: Yeh, I'm used to that. Every year, we get that. :s001: And that will be here, soon. My wife hasn't been to work, for a week. I keep poking fun at her because, she believe's in Global warming and, Al Gore. I was supposed to get off work early, Christmas eve. 12:00, noon. I called her at 10:00 A.M. and said that would not be an option. She said, "So, what time will you get off work?" I said, "Yeh, right?"
We're in deep snow right now but, the ice will surley be here before, it's all done.

A beautiful scene there Pat and quite dangerous at the same time. Essential to plan for the situations out there I bet. :s016:

Looking at the lines next to the trees, no wonder things go out. One branch and zipp. Curious if those phone or power.

O.K., Boy's!, Here's a couple more. :)

!cid_248.jpg
Isn't that pretty? I hate this freakin' snow!
!cid_451.jpg
I told Bobby, My groundman, to smack that leaning tree to knock the snow off. Pretty high tech, stuff. I've never did this at any other Utility but, they said do it when we can. It really works! Oh, Do you see Bobby, anywhere?
!cid_699.jpg
Bobby, reluctantly, getting ready to smack the tree with a ten pound maul!
!cid_286.jpg
I told Gary,"Be careful or, you'll eat all the snow, like I did!" Did he listen?
!cid_505.jpg
No!

YES! It is very dangerous and, as long as I keep my head out of my butt, I'll keep my feet above ground! This job is not for everyone, though. :s006: You have to be a little nut's to play in my Northwest, yard. :hmmm:
