What happened to my post?

Several days ago I posted a question on a problem I was having with my tach in the Electrical section. I come back to see if anyone has any advice, and my post is gone. Any ideas where it went?

Odd. No posts have been deleted. :?

Myself and JR are the only ones that can delete posts and usually he leaves stuff like that to me and posts only get deleted if they are spam or offensive.

Nope. No post here for sure.

Are you sure you actually posted it and didn't accidently just "Preview" the post?

I just remembered something. Was it a post about sending a tach away for repair and it came back but does not work?

I remember reading a post like that the other day. :?

That's the one. I know it was posted because I went back later that day to see if there were any replies. Oh well, the good news is I did get my problem fixed, so I'm all set. I was just curious if something had happened. One of life's great mysteries. Thanks for the reply, though.

I couldn't access the message board that day for a while. I wonder if something happened?

Glad you got fixed. What was the solution in the end?

Turns out when we were doing some other electrical stuff, the wires to the coil got switched so the negative coil was getting 9 volts, and the positive was getting 4 volts. Fortunately the oopsie didn't fry the tach, so it was just a matter of swapping the wires back.

When you reversed the polarity at the coil, the problem was fixed.

So, the internet thread collective deleted your post automatically knowing it was not needed any longer.

Not really, I have just been watching too many vintage Star Trek episodes lately. :hmmm:
