Danny, Took me about a year for my paperwork. I had the car de-coded and sent him all the required info for that to occur,(copy of my buildsheet, fender tag and body#s on the cowl and radiator support. Approx cost was 180.00 total. He required a pic of the engine block passenger side#'s and the 18-spline tranny #s as well as the Dana 60 for the drivetrain to be 'correct' for the cars buildsheet/fender tag. I also sent him a pic of the cowl#s and the #s at the rad support. Do I think it was worth it. Yes, every penny! The more correct and proper documentation you have on your car the better. Look at this this way. What would we do if he didnt have this service? Especially to a "knucle head" like me who enjoys proper documentation, but driving and shifting my car at speed is what it's all aboot! :s003: He does this for a living. Some people complain aboot the cost but he is accurate and the only game in town besides Mr. Barry Washington,(T/A cars) who also is to be commended for his dedication as a historian for our cars. Galen offers his services and sells the de-coding records for your car. Guys like that can only help our small knit community,(Challengers/MoPars), I couldnt handle the amount of Data, (those guys collect to aid our hobby). Yes, it's worth it.

If you get anything consider your self lucky , I have heard of some guys never getting anything at all but the visa bill , and were talking a couple of years.Good luck hope it works out for you. Unless you have the last missing Hemi Challenger convert, or your famous he mite not get around to doing your car. :disbelief:

I had my car decoded by him or someone working for him in 2001, I received it in a timely manner, but when I started looking at my numbers, Instead of J, they had mine listed as a B body. all the numbers were right, but the letters were for a b body. I contacted someone in his office, they told me to send another picture of my fender tag. I did and I have never heard anything else, that has been a year. I heard his wife was sick and passed away, I am sorry for that, but I believe since mine wasnt any special vechile, I have been put in file 13. Hope everyone has better luck than me, John

I have tried to contact him lots of times. I once got an email reply from his wife but that is it.

I even offered him history and photos of a Hemi Challenger that turned up. Not a word from him.

But if you are rich and particularly if you are famous he is all over you like a rash.

I sent him an email in May 2008 asking about my 71 340 R/T, I gave him the serial number (JS23H1B278xxx) requesting any info at all about it, and sure enough, last week I got an email back from him saying he had no information on the car at all. No help, but at least he did answer.
