Carburetor question for A66 motor

Postby charliek » 01 Apr 2008 22:48

My car has an edelbrock 4 barrel and intake. I want to put an original carb and intake back on. The original car was a Carter AVS4936S with ECS.I found a Carter AVS 4933s from a 70 340 Cuda. Would this be a good replacement since I cannot find the 4936 anywhere? The same guy also has an intake but thinks it is a 340 intake dated 1968. would it be worth it to buy as a package? I also need a good source for new parts such as power steering pump, bushings and new window wipes that mount to door panel and door. Thanks to all.

According to my book the 4933S is from a Cuda 340/Manual trans. But I think you are correct, I was going to bid on this one on ebay but will pass.
