...New Castle

my son "Vanished" told me about this site a few days ago...

...I'm really eat up with the car hobby, especially MOPARS....I have owned some real beautys in the past and still have a few...we have some cruise ins locally and a really nice show in July (5th) I think...the last 2 cars I have purchased have beem GM Muscle (69 Hurst Olds, 69 GTO Judge)...am I still allowed to post here

...my all time favorite vintage MOPARS are the 69 Daytona and 70 T/A Challenger

...at one time I owned all 3 of them among others....that picture was shot by Phil Kunz for a magazine article many years ago....

...the Red/Red T/A 4spd I sold to Mason Dixon in Tampa Fl....no idea where it is now

...the Plum T/A 4spd I gave to my son...he sold it, I bought it back a few years later and it still resides in my garage...50K mile correct with a 25 year old correct color repaint...car still looks like new

...the PPink T/A AT...I gave it to my daughter and she sold it....it is still in town and owned by friends of mine

...I mostly owned Ebodys and winged cars....I have lotsa pix, but I'll bore you with those later

...I still have too many cars, but the only Ebodys are a lime 383/AT 70 Challenger RT conv, the Plum T/A and a white T/A with 15K original miles, original paint etc etc...blue int/4spd

..I also have a 6-BBL Bird, a 69 1/2 Bee and a 66 Belvedere conv....the rest are new MOPARS (Vipers/Prowlers) or GM Muscle and Vettes

...the lime RT is awaiting a resto...

Second-please bore us with more pics!!!(There is a fellow on this board that has a 'link' with New Castle...I think his name is Dave or Super Dave or sumthin like that) :s024:

The real and original "Newcastle" is spelt all one word. I can't convince the guys at Year One of that though.

...I've never seen Mason at the Nats, but that doesn't mean he wasn't there....I've been every year since 84....I sold Mason a green Daytona in 1988, and the red/red T/A...there is a Dave that used to live here with an A12 car...other than him, I'm not sure who it might be

...the green Daytona I sold to Mason Dixon about 20 years ago...found her again at the Nats in 04....current owner lives in Cleveland

My first car was 70 SuperBird, had it all of 2-3 weeks, had to sell it in the mid 70's, insurance was killer on those cars, regretted it ever since.

...a real beauty....HEMI 8)

...the only HEMI Challenger I have owned, an RT/SE

...it was JS29R0B100015, first one ever built, used for the Car and Driver road test, Nov 69 (I think)

I wished it was a Hemi, Daytona. It's 440SixPack but it's an original/restored N-96 1970 car. According to Daniel Banker, my car is very unique in the fact thats its a console delete, 4 speed car. Dan has 5 1970 N-96 cars. Your 1970 Hemi RT/SE/N-96 is/was incredible, surely a 1 of 1 car in that combination. Do you happen to know where it's at today, if you dont mind me asking. I have 'registered' my car with Daniel Banker, he is the Curator of the Dodge Challenger 1970 N-96 original cars. 184 total built, with 1 340 and 1 383 N-96 produced along with the 184 440 SixPack and 426 Hemi's. Thanks for posting your cars, they are all beautiful!!

Never heard of the place.

I do know of a Liverpool  .
Looking at your photo I am not suprised your trousers got stolen. They will steal the hubcaps off a moving car in that dump.
