New movie. The Bucket list

I saw the new movie last hight called The Bucket List. Good movie, just did not like what they did to the Challenger. I wish Hollywood would stop picking on these old classics. They probably think that they are doing something good for the environment by destroying these old cars.

I hate the horrible editing in these movies. If you watch the car scene closely you will see what I mean.

ya know i agree, i need to take a poll to see how many dodge challengers have not only been in movies, but completely destroyed, there has to be at least a dozen or so movies, like the one with aston kusher, he bashes it into a gate, or i remember this one movie where the crash a red chally into a tree, they hope fully use rusty cars or something , i find it hard to take something that has a minimal value of say 20 grand and just trash it for the sake of a stupid movie, but it does add to the value of our cars, and makes each one more rare, with everyone they destroy like morons in the movie biz..................... :rage: :disbelief:

Yes! I do agree! What those girl's did to that Challenger in "Death Proof" hurt my feeling's too. It was a lot of fun to watch though. At least the Challenger made out better than the Charger.

Speaking of Challengers in films, this was tricky to follow, but the Challenger looked good. Looks like they made a couple for the film as well. Nice rear wing.

Hmm. That movie was released in spring 2004 and Erkki Ots Challenger got identical paint around 2003 by some middleman. Sounds like at least back in 2004 Erkki didn't know that part of his cars history.

Here's thread with more about this car. http://challenger.mpoli.fi/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4747

And about movie:

This car, or one of them (you find two identical on the car-transporter) is running in Sweden as from May 2006. Now it's with the third owner in Sweden. That car is a 70 JH23L0Exxxxx but with a 71 front and rear. I did't know about that movie, did the both car survive??? What happend with the other? Anybody know?

Today I saw it. I was in a state of shock when I realized that there was a Challenger included.

I know what you mean. In one scene they smash the left front fender. :tears: In the next scene all of the damage is gone, and in the third scene the damages have moved over to the other side of the car.... :s008: Sometimes you wish that they would have paid more attention to details...or is it just because I a am a Mopar-nut?

Here is a short movie clip from the intresting part of the movie:
