Mine didn't, only when the key was left in the ignition and a door was opened.
That would Bee down right annoying seeings how the light stayed on for several minutes, at least on my car.

Here is another article about the same car (Mopar Muscle Apr/May 1991). The article is quite intresting if you ask me.

"It was rumoured there was a poster made of Bobby Hull with the car". Well, is the rumour true or not? :?

"Apparently, the factory final-prep people took a few liberties with this show car because the Hemi emblems they put on the shaker scoop are those for a ยด71 Road Runner." True or not? :?

Have a nice weekend! :s018:

Hi Guys, just searching the internet and came across this post. I am the restorer of the red promo challenger featured in "Red Tidings" and am also restoring another rare promo 71 Cuda 440-6. I know alot about the promo cars and their abnormalities from regular production cars and if anyone has questions, feel free to email me at vintageignition@yahoo.com, tel 508-932-1349.

If anyone has a promo car that they are considering restoring, please talk to me first!

Thanks
Mike Mancini

PS: The red car was OE certified at the nats this past year.
