A very kind gent sent me this card today. I think he said it was handed out to his parents at a show back in 1981.
I used to really love this car and had a poster of it and Sylvia on my bedroom wall when I was younger. :D

Sylvia and Geof Hauser divorced years later and she now breeds cats.

That photo you have there Christer is part of the poster I had on my wall. :D
It was the center fold of a UK magazine called Custom Car.

Hello Christer! Hope you are well mate. :D

That jacket sparked a memory for me. I had a "Paper" jacket very like that only it was from "Custom Car Magazine" here in the UK. It must have been in the 70s when I was a teenager that I had that. Wish I still had it. I bet there are non still around.

Thanks for asking. Yeah, I am alright. :D

Very recently this perticular jacket was sold at ebay. Here is a qoute from the seller: "Came out of a slot car set that was recently purchased." I bet that he got a pleasant surprise because the jacket alone sold for more than $300. I guess that he got the slot car set more or less for free this way.

The price level above also indicates the same thing. :P

Happy New Year folks.
I trying to make the best out of some parts left over from my previous project...
It will get a new paint job this week.
My wife is rather unwilling to let me hang it in the living room....
Most likely she can smell the front part will hanging next to it in near future....

I don't have the VIN tag, but the fender tag I do have.....
Maybe I can glue it onto a number plate to make it show ?
...suggestions welcome......

Negotiations has started with my wife on where to hang it....
Over the bed is the best place
...it will atleast give me one sweet rear end to look at before going to sleep... :s003:

Problem is that the misses claims it stinks from the Owatrol oil used on the inner surface....

Figure hanging it 1 cm away from the wall will create a nice "halo effect" around it.

End result.
