I still havent seen it yet. I am not the fastest brainiac but have noticed this, I/we cant get any 'movies' anymore. I subscribe to a cable satellite company that provides all of thier programming in packages. Of course I have the lowest cost package which I think is still expensive. 200 channels for 40.00/month. There are no movies you know the old re-runs even. I'm not going to pay extra for old re-runs! Even the sports like pro-football/basketball, rugby, whatever, my favorite is Formula 1, nothing like that at all. The only thing they show is asscar, or something like that. no interest, it sucks! :rage: When I was a kid we recieved 2 channels and was very happy. Tom Slick Cartoons. he was a cool Dude and drove nothing but MoPars!

Hey "Cheeky Man". Sound's like we have just about the same setup. Only I have Direct TV. $40.00 some odd buck's a month, for a whole bunch of junk I don't watch anyway. Netflix is a pretty cool thing. Kick's the crap out of our video store. Any movie we want to see, two at a time, $19.00 buck's a month. I think the movie is dumb but, I think it's worth a watch.

Wow,just watched death proof for the first time last night.what a great movie! even my wife liked it :s024: to bad the challenger had to out do another mopar but this movie is a must see for gear heads or the challenger fan.vanishing point gets mentioned in the movie and the car looks like the same as the vanishing point car.

they should have used the charger in the beginning of the movie and the nova at the end LOL

Old topic, but new question...
I haven't seen the movie, not a Tarantino fan, but watched the car chase clip at youtube now. What's with the Challenger's doors - not a hardtop? Is there something about these ugly doors earlier in the movie that explains this?

The door frames were needed as part of the story for what she was doing. "Mistakes" like that are all part of what the film is about along with the loss of colour, bits of missing film, bad edits etc.

Do Americans have an equivalent word for bollocks, 'cos thats really the only way I can describe it. It just tried too hard and never hit the spot for me, sorry :|

I enjoyed it and I hate crap movies.

I thought it was very clever the way it had been made to look like a cheap B-movie that was now a used, worn, repaired drive-in movie reel.

I thought it was awesome. My kind of movie.

Hot chicks, Mopars, great tunes, and no Hollywood bollocks!
