Tuxedo T/A 1 of 1 built car

Postby Eddie » 20 Oct 2007 21:05

Here is a gorgeous 1 of 1 built Trans Am Challenger. Dig the black stripes, and 4-speed, plus manual steering all ordered by some chick! Cool story, enjoy and kudos to Barry!

Interesting. I was mis-quoted. Again. :hmmm:

There is no way to know if this one was the only one built in this color combination, so it is the only one currently known, not the "only one built".

The car was ordered by Mr. Norms, but it is not a "special order" car, it was just "ordered".

I also have nothing to with SIAC, I was never a member. I do have some of their old records, and I did send Jim the ones for this car, but SIAC has been defunct since the mid-nineties or so.

My MCG has not made it here yet, so thanks for posting the scans.

It's weird. Those guys,(Rob Wolf Randy Holden), are very friendly at the shows giving away magazines decals, ect..But when it comes to "featuring" historically important cars they always get the details and facts wrong. I wonder why?

It is the same over here mate. I think they only half listen or only hear what they want to hear.

They have been asked about it before, their standard repy is usually "We just print what the owner of the car tells us".

If I were printing a story that mentioned someone else I would contact them to confirm the details before going to print.

Well, unless the story mentioned Dave.

When it comes to Dave stories, embellishment would be more fun.
