Hate to say it Dave, but you must have some damage to put up with these two. Maybe a little shot now and again would calm you guys down.

I know how you feel though. My wife had her second seizure last week, this time while driving my daughter home from school. Luckily she pulled over to the side of the road before it happened. Unfortunately.... she didn't have the wherewithal to put it in park. The SUV casually idled away with my unconscious wife at the wheel and a terrified 8 year old off a 2:1 embankment. Thank god there was a barbed wire fence that kept it from rolling over. I had 3 passer bys (Hispanic construction workers which I am so thankful for) hanging off the running boards and roof rack as I cut the truck loose and drove it out.

I will never forget the panicked cell phone call from my little girl telling me what was happening. :tears:

Yes, I have revoked her driving privileges indefinitely or until we figure out what the problem is. Life is quite a bit tougher now being the chauffeur. Along with the emotions of my wife feeling she has lost her independence and purpose.

Moral is.. enjoy life while you can because sooner or later we will all be without, what seems a given.

Yeah Dave, I remember and you were very '''shaky''' then, we were worried they were giving you last rites. :worry:

I tell ya. Twice now I have almost lost my life and then just when I was thinking the worst was over after that last time in January they told me they strongly suspected I had brain cancer?

Thank God they were wrong but I had to go almost two months recently thinking I was going to die. I tell ya. I don't want to go through that again. :disbelief:

I still have pains in my head and I still have not had a clear scan. So I still worry a little. Hopefully when they scan me in Febuary it will be completely clear and I can relax for the first time in over a year. With luck I will be physically fit again by then too.

You got that right Jon.

Hey man. Sorry to hear about your wife. It is going to be hard on all of you if she cannot drive. It is not such a big deal in most parts of Britain because public transport is so good and everything you need is close to hand. But the USA is rather more spread out! :(

I hope you can find a way to cope easier.

Thanks guy's. We feel very lucky only the SUV was hurt.

I live about 30 minutes from the nearest town Paso Robles so trying to limit those trips. My daughters school is about 20 minutes away, (4 times a day) there's no getting around that drive. This is going to get old real quick.

Oh well, life is good as we are all relatively healthy and live in a beautiful place. I wouldn't go anywhere again if I didn't have to.

I got a seven year old named Cian, a two year old named Cillian and a 2 week old named Ethan...

I do a small bit of training with Cian but not too much I dont want to force Muay Thai on him, if he really wants to learn he can come to me in time.

I cant wait, then we can get into some really serious trouble him and I. He's bringing back to Indiana, a perfectly rust free A-body,(76 dart), and we want to build a race car with it,(street legal). My wife and I will go to war.

Is that your bed?

Funny place to keep your guns. Unless you need to point one at her to get her into bed with you.

RedRaven, Nice looking family you have there. You must have your hands full with 3 boys. Don't worry it only gets easier. :s020:

One at a time is enough for me. :s008: However, our little girl is pretty easy, straight A's in school. (Don't know where she got that) Not looking forward to the teenage years though. My step son started getting really defiant around 16.

Eddie, are you going to be driving with your son in the Dart. Should be great fun. Yesterday my son came by for Labor day and took me out on an off roading adventure. At 22 he has improved his driving skills quite a bit considering he rolled his first truck within a month of getting his license.

Kids these days...... we were never like that. :s022:

Man Dave, you must be watching me thru the window! My GunSafe is in there! Kids in the house sometimes and it's a secure area. I also have all my extra N.O.S. parts in there too! Wait. You mean you guys dont keep yer shootin irons and car parts in that thar room?Back in 1994 I wheeled my Ninja ZX-11 in my bedroom one time to wax it during winter when it was up, she came home and threatened me that day. Jon, he comes home next year and I hope to have enough cash to help get the beast running. I'm slowly building a 400/512 Stroker for it and he is a sheetmetal tech so he gets the suspension brakes and bodywork, I get the engine, tranny, rear. It's going to be 'old school' H.D. Leafs, cut down truck rear end, sloppy outside paint job, big engine decent brakes. He drives it,(you wouldnt want me in it. I would break something, he's a bit more level headed than me, I'm pretty radical).

What is more dangerous you can smash front of your car very easily while you stare at the things you should not be staring at, and what is even more dangerous you can receive "greetings" from your wife if you just take a look

Very true Wojpi! I'm not worried about anything like that however, in the 176 years of our blissfull marriage I have realised two things. 1).Man she's big 2). We will always be together-- No one else would have us!

This was in our local newspaper today. He is 68. I said 70 in an earlier post I was wrong, but he's still pretty old and in bad physical health. I dont think he's gonna make it. Time to look for another job! Maybe Taiwan Terry is hiring, Dave know's I have that kind of 'experience'!! :s009:

Well can you not fill in as "caretaker manager" while he is away trying desperately to not drop the soap in the shower?

I am going to 'manage' the restaurant for a while, but his son is going to eventually take over and I'll be gone with my mother who makes his ethnic dishes for him,(no one else knows how to make them), and we dont get along with the son, he has betrayed us once before, it wont happen again. Poor Dave will be in the shower with dudes from the 'hood' he is not gonna make it! The shower will be the least of his concerns! (Although I wouldnt want to be in there with them)!! Due to his medical condition he will be placed in a corrections facility that houses ill convicts, it's still a prison though, I used to "run" inmates to that place all the time. Most of the convicts are sick with A.I.D.S. or just old and dying, he'll be in the latter category, 5 years is a long time. He could have recieved 20! The irony of all this? I made him way more money selling cheap tawdry items! Always go with the girls. Always

I just sliced my finger tip almost off! Dam%^*&^$ Crankshaft!! I got this 400 block for 50 bucks. The 383 Forged Crank for 50 as well. I just want to get a little machining done (torque plate bore and hone to 4.3750) It rotates perfectly at 85 lb. ft. torque.(The main bulkheads are straight), then, to get either a 512 Stroker kit,(I'm taking Dave and Fabian's advice), get a good set of big port heads. Single plane intake with big freaking Holley Pro series then sell it or build a stock 400 Resto engine with forged parts for durability. If I lose my job stock resto it is and it's for sale, if not full blown engine build!

How the hell did you slice your finger by checking the crank?

Well I can't feel sorry for David of any other drug dealers. One of my best mates was murdered by a gang that were smuggling/supplying drugs (amongst other things). They never found his body and no one was ever charged with his murder.

I used to smoke a bit of pot now and again before then. Never since. I wouldn't put a penny in a dealers pocket.
All dealers should burn in hell. It causes nothing but pain and misery.
