Hey Guy's! My wife and I got back from the Mopar NAT.'s in Woodburn last week. Awesome! After the Challenger's took a beating, I told you about this 8.? Cuda. There was a big heavy 68 that stole my heart but, that "70" Cuda took the Cake@8.4@154mph. That was during elimenations.Have a good one, Pat

Mopar National's

Here are some pic's. There was a lot of awesome racer's. Unfortunately, I forgot about the camera during most of the drag's. That one cop car was Oregon State police. Notice, when he got smoked by the 73 Charger, he hit his light's. Oh, his siren was blaring too. The crowd went nut's! The blue Cuda' coming back down the track with the door open was the 154 MPH in the quarter car. Wish I would have gotten some of those wheel stand's  Next time I'll be ready. 'Til next time; Pat

Yep. It was a 5.7 Hemi powered doughnut chaser. He actually won a few races. Even the one where the Charger smoked him. The 73 jumped the light. He got eliminated by a 69 440 Dart. The Dart's drivers name was "STONER". So the cop got smoked by a Stoner :s002: even worse than the Charger did. :P He Blazed the light's and blared the siren, again. And again, the crowd went nut's. :D He later went up to the anouncer's booth and was praised for his sportsmanship but was soon razzed when we found out he was on the clock. Have a good one; Pat

The cop "wrapped" up his competition then "smoked em" on the "big end" until he met his "match" by a "stoner". Why am I having "high school flashback" from the early 70's?  Love that "Deep Purple Machine Head" colored 70 R/T! :s004:

Purple R/T

Like I said, there were so many beautiful car's and so many Hot, Powerful Racecar's. I just couldn't stay focussed on that damn camera. It's usually the wife's job to take the shot's. She was in as much Ahhhhh as I was. As I was standing and drueling over that purple #'s matching 6 Pack, I thought, "Holy Cow, I gotta take a snap of this one!" Paint was so flawless, that the wife could have done her hair with the inner fender well! Make's my car look like an old wore out "Maverick". Outch :s005: Pat

I remember I wiped out my Dad's new Maverick into a telephone pole one night. I was with a girl and had a bottle of Boones farm Grape wine. He was not pleased!
