Well, then pack your Challenger, ship it to the East-Coast and we cruise across to California. I am sure many would join.....

A/C? You have to be kidding. Too heavy. And pointless in a country where it is only hot enough to use it two or three weeks a year.

It is 104 this afternoon in the San Fernando Valley..... I can see why so many passed on the six pack and took the 4-bbl 440 cars.

Yes JackT, 104 yesterday here in the interior central coast too. Probably even hotter today.

This time of year is my Challengers down time. Kinda like winter is for the guys in the colder areas of the world.

Sounds like you could not get A/C with a 6-pak car? Not a high performance option?

It just couldn't physically fit because of the front carb. Same on the dual carb Hemi if I remember?

Jack and Jon are right. Some people have to have their A/C. It's not so much the actual temperature around here. It's the humidity. Yesterday it was "only" 88 F. but the humidity was almost 80%! It felt like 96 F. you get soaking wet just sitting in the car. Next time I go for a cruise the waitresses where I work are going for a ride. Multi-carbs no air, definite advantages! :s022:
