I have located a trunk lid in nice condition for my 1970 and want to MAKE SURE it will fit.
It is from a 1972/3.
Is it true that 1970 thru 1974 used the SAME trunk lid?
(This is a NON RALLY Challenger)
I want to know for sure before picking this up.

All Challenger trunk lids will fit, there all the same size, only the bracing was changed.

It will fit and work, but if I remember right, some of the newer ones used larger diameter mounting bolts for the hinges?
For 1970 alone, there were a few different decklid styles, the differences were in the underskin;
No cutouts for accesories (except the trunk lamp)
Cutouts for luggage rack.
Cutouts for Go Wing rear spoiler.
Cutouts for luggage rack, Go Wing and T/A spolier. (found on every original 1971 Challenger I have looked at as well)
There may be other varients also?

At least that goes for the rallye hood if I remember it right. (I donĀ“t know about the trunk lid)

In theory I get 8 possible variants:
1) No cutouts for accesories (except the trunk lamp)
2) Cutouts for luggage rack only.
3) Cutouts for Go Wing only.
4) Cut outs for the rear spoiler only.
5) Cutouts for luggage rack and Go Wing.
6) Cutouts for luggage rack and rear spoiler.
7) Cutouts for rear spoiler and Go Wing.
8 ) Cutouts for luggage rack, Go Wing and T/A spolier. (found on every original 1971 Challenger I have looked at as well)
Is it possible to exclude any of them? (Are any of them "impossible"?)
