I was kinda thinking that too ianandjess, didnt want to pee in someones coffee they were decent but when I was in the market for a chrome racing mirrors set, I eventually caved and bought a set N.O.S. and it was not cheap! The quality was high however. I spoke with at least two people who are in the Chrome Plate business. It all comes down to how much time the plater puts in to your piece. the chrome plated parts our cars came with were cheap "potmetal" disassembling them 35 yrs, later results in some plated parts not working as they should, the drivers adjustable mirrors on the E-body is a perfect example.ianandjess wrote:the stuff i have bought from pg classics is good for a car your going to use but for a matching number show car they would not do at all
