The same goes for me. Any news from the hospital? I would feel a bit more comfortable if we could get some positive news.

Dave has managed a couple of posts from his hospital sick bed, and seems comfortable under the circumstances. This was posted by Dave on Monday 22nd:

" i do feel btter 2day but have had 2x x-rays, 2x cat scan, 2x mri scan and 6x pain killers inc morphine. AND THAT WAS IN THE FIRST FEW HOURS.

I have had lots of blood/urine tests and a lumbar puncher as well. bloody quacks still have no idea.

i am a right miserable patient as u can imagine!

First of all thank you for all the good wishes you have given me.

Been a hetic day. But am home at last. However only for the weekend. I have to go back on Monday and I don't know how long for. Have to have more scans and another lumber puncture.

They have had final confermation that my brain is not infected. Which means no more IV fluids. But it does not look clever on the MRI scans. I am currently having some problems but hopefully treatment next week might resolve them.

As if I didn't already have memory problems.

I am so happy about not needing the IV infusions which took 1.5 hours three times a day. I am full of holes from 6 different stents for the IVs, a set of holes from injections every night, blood tests almost every day, and the lumbar puncture. I am bruised all over and leak like a garden spray every time I drink a glass of water. :D

So I might be in hospital all week next week. But it is all up in the air at the moment. I am just glad that I am home for a couple of days and it shouldn't be too painful next week. Although those lumbar punctures are not nice.

It is nice to be home for this two days.

Thanks again for the support.

I am a bit worried I have some brain damage at the moment.

But my greater worry is that no-one will notice the difference.... :s008:
