airfuelEddie wrote:Sorry to inform all, according to another MoPar website," Dick Landy died either yesterday or today at the hospital". RIP Dandy Dick Landy!! :s005: :s005:

Bugger! What a damn shame.

Well if there is a heaven then he has a good few men up there already for him to match race.

Since I have got some material laying around, I thought it would be a good idea to tribute Dick Landy to a fabulous carreer and a lot of memorable moments. Thanks Dick!

I didnĀ“t know him personally and I have never met him but I am sure that he was a nice guy. Is there anyone who new him personally? Any stories to tell?

Recently this item was sold. From the ad:

Super-Rare 1967 Dick Landy Dodge Performance Clinic Promotion Kit

This is the only one of these that I have ever seen. I have had it my whole life, as my Father Started Frederick Dodge in 1960 and was into performance cars and racing from the beginning.

This kit is from Frederick Dodge when he had Dick Landy to the dealership for a performance clinic and weekend racing at Quaker City Dragway. If you look at the pictures, check out the actual promo posters hanging in the showroom window and Landy's R/T on the floor. Also his car on the carrier in the lot.

The kit is in great shape and appears to be complete. The two 2'x6'posters are mint.

Cool stuff, eh? :s007:

Have a nice day!

Is thatt an A100 wheelstander beside the building on the trailer? Looks like there's no windshield. Can't quite make out the wording on the front of the A100 either.
