Hi all, hope every one had a good new year. My buddy Dave and I have found our new project. I'm not sure if you recall our last car ,We sold at the RM Auction in October, it was a 1 of 4 color combo car FJ5 V9Y, so we were looking for a new project ,and we came across, a car that mite be even more rare that our last car .Ok are you ready for this one , it's a 1970 Challenger 440 R/T .Ok it gets better it's a two tone challenger, the color is plum crazy purple with white int,and white body side stripe and a white painted top. And all that rides on polyglas tires, and full hub caps. Here are some pics the way we got it, hope you enjoy. All the best in the new year. Steve and Dave.

He talking white paint Eddie. Very few were made like that. A guy over here in the UK has a Purple HemiCuda with a white painted top.

Wow! Thanks Dave, I learned something neat today! Let me get this "straight" 2.2% of js23 cars were painted two-tone? Also were these rare two-tones available in the UK only or us only? or globaly? Thanks Again. 71 PC good luck on that awesome chally in two-tone. Plum crazy and white is classy and insane at the same time, and I love it!

There is no difference in the options for export cars. The only differences were lighting specs. etc.

Challengers were never available in the UK.

Here is a link to the two tone HemiCuda over here.

Surely it isn´t a coincidence that you find these rarities. I am sure that it takes a lot of hard and dedicated work. Congrats!

Btw; How much did you get for the green Challenger you sold? A PM to me and I will promise to say nothing (for sure).

Looking forward to his comments.

Is the hemi original? What are those lights(?) just under the hood  I know little about Cuda's but they are our cars cousin, that's cool by me. 8)

You mean the two below the bumper? They are roadlamps that were offered on cudas. They are kind of like fog lights.

The HemiCuda was used as a race car in Sweden I think? The original engine got blown up. So the Hemi in there now is a big cube Ray Barton job even though it looks stock.
