Dave, Christer, Jens, hey guys wanted to let you that I contacted a Mr.Scott Landis at XV motorsports and the "skivvy" they gave me was basically what Dave stated. I am not saying that Mr. Landis said that it couldnt be used on the street, on the contrary he said the entry level would be perfect for the street. The level 1 is basically "matched" leaf springs and torsion bars with sway bars front and rear and specifically valved dampers,(shocks), now you could go and buy the individual components and replace them yourself but its not going to work at its optimum performance unless its all put on together. The Level II is more in line with what Dave describes and is streetable but is made for competiton and involves cutting and welding and is VERY expensive. It is however state of the art and specific engineering was accomplished by a firm in Canada that does a lot of Formula 1 work. I on the other hand piecemealed my suspension "package" with quality bolt on parts because I could never take advantage of the suspension that XV offered why? Because I am unwilling to give up my Ralleyes and 15" tires and no cutting which includes no subframe connectors. That would make any further mods pointless. You gotta have ultra low profile tyres and big wheels if you want to take advantage of a Competion suspension or else youre spinning you wheels,(pun intended)!
