I went to the New car show in indy yesterday. The Dodge display did not have the new Challenger. They said it was in San Diego. They did say that there will be a convertible version in 2009. I do not know if this is old news or not but I am ready for either body style to arrive. Chevy did have their new Camaro on display.
Happy New Year to All.

Quite a disappointment for you, right?
Anyway, thanks for the information. It was new to me. Happy New Year!

Me too! Thanks and not being a Chevy person was wondering what you thought of the new Camaro? I have a lot of Chevy friends and they LOVE the new Challenger but despise the prototype Camaro! Many said that they were going to buy a DODGE. I almost fainted. It is however a great sign when chevy guys want to buy a MoPar! Hope they make enough cause demand is going to be higher than they anticipate, MUCH higher!

Yes, The Dodge display was disappointing. Not even a Viper. It seems funny that Indianapolis is not a big enough market to show off their "sports" cars. Come to think of it i do not remember seeing a Crossfire.
I like the new Camaro. The look is futuristic though. The roof line seems a bit low so I am not sure about visibility. The car was on a platform and not accessable.

I agree about the new Camaro Bob, too robocop looking for me looks like a mazda miata had sex with a pontiac aztec and thats the child they had. Too bad about INDY and being host to F1 and the "greatest spectacle in racing" the 500 of course. Lots of gearheads and potential customers reside in and near Indy.

Many of my friends like the Camaro but I don´t agree with them. I think it is a mixture of old and new design features that just doesn´t match. Parts of it reminds me of new Cadillacs with sharp edges and so on. Don´t like it very much. (I like the Mopars tough
