I'm in Beaumont(about 90 miles SE of Houston).
Mine isn't even "in" the garage...it's been pushed outside by the kids 4 wheelers and my wife's Dodge Ram Crew Cab.

Nice Chargers
What years are they? The body styles, especially the grills are very cool. If I hadn't been hooked on the Challenger, they would be my favorite ride.

ADE 70, very impressive. Is that a Judge? 455 SD wicked fast, and highly feared in street racing. Nice Chargers 472 SE R/T!! Me TOO Jon!!

The '70 Charger's have the open front grill area like a '70 Chally IMO, is why I like them both. I'm not much of a '69 Charger fan since the grill is broke up in the center.
eddie, I had to open the hood of one to work on the other, forgot how to put it back together.
Thanks, I really miss the blue one.

I too don't care much for the 1969 Charger. I leave them for the "Dukes" fans. There are loads of General Lee clones over here. I am damn sick of them. I hate it when people ask me if my Challenger is one.
My favorite Charger body is the '68 with the '70 a very close second. The '70 has a better interior though.
There was a time when you could get a '70 500 for next to nothing. They had great interiors with nice options and a 383 big block 2bbl. All it took was a carb and cam swap to make them come alive.
Now even they are highly priced. I saw one for sale here for £50,000.
It didn't sell though.

My favorite one is the XX coded 69 Charger 500 Daytona with the filled in back light and coronet grill,(flush), to the edge of the hood, 426 Hemi 4-speed. According to Galen Govier 118 built. Very fast. Nothing against the show,(I have never seen an episode), sad how many were "wasted" for cheesy hollywood entertainment.

I'd be lying if I said the show didn't influence me and my love for the Charger(at least a '68 or '70). Daisy Duke was always a bonus.
I had a replicar Daytona. It was more attention than I wanted and took up too much room in the garage.
The wing made for a nice towel rack for them after drying cars.

Recieved this 400 to build. It's going to the shop next month to get tested. If it's structurally sound, then it built into a 470 Nitrous Stroker, for my Son's 76 Duster.

A good choice, if you ask me. If I would start building an engine from scratch, I would start with a 400".

Yeah Christer, it's the strongest big block. I'm gonna build a 4340 bottom end with studs and girdle. Used Eddie's that someone will surely sell for the Victor upgrades, and spray the hell out of it with a bunch of Nitrous! We'll see how it goes. next month I am gonna take it to Best Machine to get it all tested and sonic checked. Don't want to buy parts for a boat anchor!
I have the tools to assemble and blueprint and my Son already wants to install it in his 76 Dustpan.

Look at all that metal around the big ends. Super strong!
Make sure you buy some good quality end caps and change to studs. The crank will be stressed with NOS.
