The Dodge Challenger Message Board

My car came with a 'Certificate of Registration For Indiana Motor Vehicle' and I've only just looked at it today. Is this the certificate that would have been given to the first owner? The vehicle purchase date on the certificate is 11-12-71. Could this have been the date on which the car was purchased new? (Build date on the door tag says 8-1969). There is also a 'Certificate of Title' which shows the same purchase date and the same owner. This is dated at the bottom 11/29/71. It also has stamped on it: 'U.S. Customs certified for exportation May 19 2003' I was told the car was a one-owner vehicle when I bought it, and was wondering how I can find out if this is correct?
