Finally some video material

Postby 72 Challenger (Hans) » 12 Feb 2006 10:43

After some questions where my vid's were I finally found out how to shrink them enough to be able and upload them... It's not that much since we have only ran 2 events with the car.

As you can see it still kind of leafs like a fat dog, but what'd you expect with that weight. Also, couldn't stall the car as due traction problems. Here I leave the line at about 1600rpm's. First run I tryed the 4200 but sliding around for 3 shifts... 60ft around 1.55 average. ET around 10.9@125 average with a best of 1.531 / 10.783@127mph.

That hood scoop is awesome.

It would be great to see your car up against Tig's very similar car.

They look very identiacl indeed Dave. Only he runs a bit faster, almost in the 9's. At least he should be if he finishes his new bullit.

Still hope to see him at our events someday...would be the time to do it this year as there are about 20 cars coming over in July. The super pro (or something like that; 7-8sec. cars) class comes over! You make sure you enter as a helper of one of those teams Dave...

And that scoop...love it... It was a 5" version 68 Hemi Cuda scoop but it had to be raise 2" to clear the carb and stuff...

Hope to hit 10.4's this coming season...
