Parts shipping from USA to UK?

I'm thinking of bidding on this item on eBay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... AMEWA%3AIT

Although the seller has said in the auction he will ship worlwide, he is not happy to ship to the uk as it is "too far." Is there anybody in the States who would be prepared to accept the package, and then forward it on?
I would pay for the item in full and then pay for the additional shipping cost.

Well I will say it then.

What a NUTTER! What difference does it make? He has to take it to the same Post office. What a TURKEY. Maybe he thinks he has to drive in his pick-up all the way over the England and post it there?

Probably thinks England is the next State over and then Iraq is about 10 miles further on. PLONKER!

The auction's gonna go over $500, which is a bit rich for my blood!
Also I just realised he won't accept Paypal, which means I can't whack it on my credit card.

Cheers Steve, I'll bear that in mind! Been in touch with a guy who restores this part, and he should have one ready in around 3 weeks.
