Did anyone else see the episode on Speed Channel featuring the T/A Challenger and AAR Cuda last night? I don't know if it was a new one or not. There was some very interesting vintage racing photography along with today's restored cars.

I assume you Euro blokes get Speed Channel? :wink:

Late at saturday evenings (21.00-24.00), discovery channel (discovery mix) use to show Extreme Rides and American Choppers. I try to watch them. Dragracing programs for instance are very rare. I watch them not more than once in a year or so. We live in different worlds, aren´t we?

Btw: I have the base level channels (about 10 channels) in my apartment. Yes, I can easily get more channels but it will cost me some $$$.

Yes in some way we do live in very different worlds Christer. It is amazing how a forum such as this one can connect a common interest around the world.

I live in a somewhat remote area of California. The nearest town is 20 miles away. We had only one local channel for years. I finally ponyed up for satalite television. It costs $50 per month which seems a little excessive but we get 100 plus channels.

Do you have access to satalite programing like Directv? The automotive and motorcycle shows are really popular now and something worth watching is aired everyday!

I guess everything is possible through satellite. It´s just a question of money. We don´t feel that we need more channels at the moment, so we haven´t checked that possibility. I miss Dragracing programs though.... :worry:

I have cable but cut back to a basic package to save money. Same with a lot of things.

When it comes to a choice between money for things like TV channels or money for the Challenger the Challenger wins every time. :wink:

Yes it took a few years to talk myself into spending the extra money, but one channel just didn't cut it. :s006:

Life is full of compromises. I figure that since we live so far out, we save money on things like going out to dinner. One night out a month easily costs more than the Directv subscription.

However, when we feel like taking the Challenger out for a drive there is no second thoughts about that. :lol:

Keep a lookout in the UK for a program called 'Rides' on the Discovery Wings channel. It covers all things Hotrod/ Muscle car related, and no sign of Boydd Coddington anywhere ('ray!). :wink:

Last nights program focused on Year One building a project car Chevy Nova with a 'glass body and 600hp motor (I taped it, Dave).

Excellent viewing.
