Hey guys...I was wondering if anybody around here is lucky enough to own this beautiful machine...
I was about 13 or 14 when I was scouring junkyards with my grandfather, looking for a turn signal lense for my grandmas old lincoln town car...
We happened on this old junkyard that wasn't like any boneyard I have ever seen! BMW isettas stacked on 58 vette rear clips, triumph roadsters, caddy limos, on and on...
We came across this old Challenger. Ugly blue QUICKIE respray over FE5 red...Everything was still there, except the rear exhuast tips...The only things not mentioned were the flip-top gas cap and the partial horn ring wheel...
THE RED CAR'S FENDER TAG...

Have a field day with that! Yes, I know it is one of 733, yes it has factory cruise control, N41 might have been M41, I don't remember if it had the moldings or not, but for some reason I think it does...
Anyway, I kept in contact with Mr. Valdry (The owner of Valdrys auto dismantling) and I would stop in for a few years, and the red car was always there...He offered it to me for 10 grand. I saved up for that treasure, but came across an irresistable deal for a clean, low mileage '58 coronet. D'oh! I persued Valdry's last week when I was in L.A., and of course, it was gone, a few years ago to boot!
I was wondering if anybody here has it, and if old Red has a new vinyl top and a trunk floor...
