challenger on Overhaulin

Postby neuralyser » 08 Dec 2005 20:31

Hi guys,

I'm sure that as usual I'm completely behind everyone else who has known about this for weeks or whatever, but did any of you see Overhaulin on the discovery channel last night with a lime green 71 ?
The bloke was so cut up when he thought the car had been nicked and chopped that he was in tears...poor b***er

DOH !!!

Still I do have the excuse that I have only just in the past fortnight given in to my kid's incessant grumblings about getting sky t.v.
Funny though how we all think alike about things such as those 'orrible wheels and all that I.C.E. I was thinking as I watched the show that if it was ME being shown MY car after their week of desecration I would have been sooooo ungrateful the show would never have aired....then again I suppose you could pull off a lot of that junk and flog it then use the money to start putting things right...

Hey guys! I know John Hopper, one of the guys that worked on that car. He provided a brand new 440 for that thing to promote his company Icon Performance in Hawthorne, California. That car is amazing to see in person!

Hi Kelly,

Sorry buddy, didn't mean any offence about the overhaul, it's just that it ended up being a little loud for everyone's taste, particularly rather conservative English folks, but no dispute about the quality of work or the wow thing when it was finished...
