Looks like someones rendering of a Barracuda to me so I doubt it will be the new Challenger. :?

All Cuda - definitely not chally. Either way, they have a few years yet to ‘junk it up’, like every concept-to-floor process.

Better. But it would have to be more aerodynamic (i.e. flush) at the front to have any real chance.

The first picture grill is all 1973 cuda along with the classic gills on the sides as in this link.

I like both of them though.
Hope they keep the higher hipped back quarter panels. It's very similar to the 70's style which I think gives it a classic look.

I like the Purple Challenger concept! Lovely! :D
I would leave it like that, more muscular, if they try to smooth it out or add more aerodynamic type styling cues it will just look like another japanese influenced car. Keep it big, "square" and muscular!!

Is the new Challenger not going to be a 2- door version of the new Charger then? I kind of like the look of that car. 8) It's how an Audi Quattro would look if they fed it steriods.

The 2- door version can only look better, and it'll give the new Mustangs something to think about. Bullit 2007 anybody?

I thought they were not going to make any two door cars from now on?

Dunno for sure mate. I read somewhere that they'd had a policy turnaround on that decision, but I can't think where I heard it or in what context. Chinese whispers for the next 12/ 18 months I reckon. I do like the idea though, of a modern chassis 2- door sporting the new Hemi. About time we had some real modern Mopar Muscle on the streets. 8)

The front looks just as square as the new wustangs front does so why not? Put in a souped up 6.1Hemi and leave the rest behind in the dust!

I don't think these are DC drawings. I first saw these from a link on another board. The drawings are from http://www.creatingthelie.com/ Click on Automotive Design then the Mopar link. This guy does some amazing artwork! According to some 'net rumor he nailed the new Mustang pretty well before he even saw it!

Love the look of both of those concept Challenger/Cuda cars, wether we will be lucky enough to see these cars on the street in a few years time is debateable :?
I also heard that Chrysler werent going to make any more 2 door cars, because theres no demand
Again the accountants will have the Chally trailing behind the Mustang in development, history repeating itself at Chryslers cost
