Race- Gurning

Postby Tim » 12 Aug 2005 7:17

Thanks to some excellent UK photographers, I’ve got about a dozen really good photo’s of me driving the car up the drag strip, but in every single one of them I’m pulling a weird face :hmmm: . Does this happen to anyone else?

In my mind, when I come to the startline, I’m ice- cool, calm and focused. Then someone takes a photo showing me looking like I’m having a major seizure  .

Same thing as the car goes up the track- I’m concentrating on keeping the car in the groove, hitting the shift points, etc, but photo’s show a slack- jawed, moon- faced gurner behind the wheel.

Full- face helmet on the wishlist for next- season!

I rest my case. :blushes:

Photo is courtesy of Dave McBride. IMHO the best photographer of our hobby in the UK. 8)

This is probably the worst offender of the bunch. :worry:

In defence, I think I was shouting something like "Faster you bitch" or "yee- haargh" or similar.
