I would be real carefull with that car. The vin should be stamped in the inner side of the metal, I.e Trunk lid, fenders etc.

The only body numbers on E-bodies are on the cowl and radiator support. They are just the last 8 digits of the 13 digit VIN.

If the original driver's side door is still present, there should be a Mylar sticker on the back of it with the full VIN.
