Hi gang,
Some of you know that I have been working towards a second website for quite a while, and with a lot of help, it is ready to view.

Special thanks go out to Webmaster Mike Jansekok who put the site together and to Johan Ronkainen for site hosting.

Check out the "found" section if you are hoping to find any original paperwork for your particular car too. The largest "found" file so far is for 1970 Hamtramck built cars, but there are items from other plants and years also, so explore the site thouroughly. There will be LOTS of updates to this section as time allows.

Thanks go out to everyone that has sent in original items and owner histories as well, especially Tom Quadrini and Jeff Bangert, they handed over so many records that I am still sorting through them and organizing them 9 months later.

The site is brand new, so please report any problems if you have them? You can view it at www.hamtramck-historical.com

T/Ake care and thanks again to the hundreds of folks who have helped out over the years. :D

Thanks Dave,
I have been working towards this for quite a while. It took a while to find the right guy to put it all together, but Mike is doing a great job, and all for free. I am not sure that he knew what he was getting into when he volunteered? As much time as has gone into it so far we must both be :hmmm: ?

The newest update as of today is that the 1971 Hamtramck section is now five pages long, so if any of you own a 1971 model built there please check the list to see if I have anything for your car. If you found a broadcast sheet or have another item for a 1971 Hamtramck car ( or any other year / plant for that matter) please let me know?

T/Ake care,
Barry

I had time today for a better, more detailed look at your web site Barry. It really does look good. But try as I did I could not find a photo of my car. :(

I see you have a few of Adam Fords photos on there. Really nice chap is Adam.

I'm still hopefull that one day someone in Texas will send in the sheet from my car (JS23UOB126177).

Hey Dave,
I am not one to "steal" photos, so pick out a few you like and forward them to Mike, he would be more than happy to add them for you. :D

As for your broadcast sheet, there may be more than one and no where near Texas. Due to how the assembly lines were run, sheets splattered all over the place because they were put in the wrong cars. The first broadcast sheet "match up" for us so far this year is a T/A sheet that was found in a JH23N0B car in Oregon. The T/A has been in Georgia all it's life. Someone at Hamtramk just did not care, but 35 year old mistakes can be corrected. :D I love it when it happens. :s017:

T/Ake care,
Barry

Just pulling your leg Barry. Although once my car is painted and running again I might send in a photo just to show it off. :D

Hey Dave,
Running and paint not required.

One photo even has me in it, so Mike will post just about anything.

It looks like all my 1974 Hamtramck info will be listed next, I am hoping to find something for jr, but no luck yet.

T/Ake care,
Barry

The 1974 Hamtramck info is now available, so for those of you with cars from there, please check the list for your VIN in case I have something available for your car.

Barry
