Has anyone seen the text of the recent e-bay (U.S.) 73 plum crazy Challenger which says "according to Black book international's guide to vehicles of particular interest collectible vehicle guide, values of 72 & 73 Challengers have risen by 21% in the last 6 months"
I know, it might just be made up sales guff, but it points to the reality of overall value increases, reminds me of the time in 1985 when I looked at a good running early E-type Jag roadster for sale for 4 grand (but didn't buy it) and 3 years later it would have been worth at least 40...

Wait till the Dukes of Hazard movie comes out - this should see the value of both the Charger and Challenger soar (with luck).

Not to boast, but on almost every occasion I park my challenger in a public space, I return to find a note on the car from someone interested in buying it. You couldn't say the same of many other cars these days...

Another thing along the same lines; in the early 80's I was into Lambrettas in a big way, a mate of mine and I were in the local scooter club and used to go on rallies etc.
I had a pretty up together SX200 which I bought for 80 quid, a weeks wages for me then, which would sell for 3 or 4 grand now according to an article I read the other day, and if it was absolutely perfect, which mine could have been at very little expense, it could fetch up to 7 thousand.
A lot of it is down to rarity cos we all chopped our scooters down in those days...sorry to bore you with something :ashamed: which I'm sure none of you have any interest in, but the wife and kids always tell me to shut up when I start on about the good old days!!
