$35 in shipping is not very much if you compare to the $395 a set costs. Just my opinion. ...or have I misunderstood your point?

To ship from Canada usually takes longer than from the US, right?

I wish I'd given em $100 to ensure delivery! Just an update on this.. 2 months and no bezels. I contacted them and it looks like when they get a sale in Canada, the parts are shipped direct from "the manufacturer" which may or may not be a Chinese moulding duplication plant (my friend with a model airplane says he gets all sorts of cheaper parts this way). And they've lost the shipment

They're going to send another package without any question but based on this, I would recommend making your own set from a block of aluminium and a chisel, it'd be quicker! I'll let you know of the quality if/when they arrive....

gday i got my repro headlight bezels today they are chinese repros through pg classic they are ok for a driver but i woundnt use them on a show car but they are better than the munched up bezels that were on my car

Thanks for the pic´s. I am sure they will look OK when fitted. Maybe not good enough for a show car but probably 90% of us would be happy with them. The most important part of the bezel is the chrome eyebrow and it looks very good from what I can see.

Thought I would chime in with an opinion. For repos and being China. , they look good. Seems like everything is made in China now!! By the way, I like the woodgrain in that table too. I Like Wood.

1970 CHALLENGER DECK AND QUARTER MOLDING TRIM are now available as repro!

Question: How is the quality of this product? I have heard (on this board) that the 71-74 repro sets aren´t very good, wrong length and so on. Any similar problems on the ´70 set?

Christer. I can not remember where I bought my rear trim from but the fit and quality is not very good.

Thanks for your opinion. Maybe it is a good idea to straighten my old set then.

Chris, I purchased a 1970 set from YO. 1/16" too short on the trunk piece and one quarter trim has small tooling dings. These are consistant flaws as YO sent replacements and they are the same. The ends are a little ragged too with sharp metal points at the folds. Most people wouldn't notice though.

Finish is nice and all new mounting hardware included in the package.

A complete Challenger hood (no flat hood required) for $1000.

I wonder how the flip top really is? I bought N.O.S. when they were "reasonable" got mine for 385.00, it seems the current re-popped parts are "thinner" or weigh less? They just felt lighter and thinner in my hand when I attended the trade show at Indy last spring.

SCOOP!? A couple of months ago, PG Classic store bought a NOS locking gas cap. How big is the likelihood that this cap already is in China as a tooling base? Personally I am quite convinced that we will see a repop locking gas cap on the market within a couple of months. (Yeah, this is only speculations so don´t take anything for granted.)

I wouldn't be surprised.
I believe he is Chinese-Canadian and he must have some good manufacturing contacts in China.

I belive that there are quite a few business men who has become wealthy thanks to importing stuff from China. I don´t like the way people are beeing treated over there, wages and many other things. I hope that the situation rapidly will become better.

Heads up - 440 Source "non wedge" cranks...... they are drop-forged from good steel BUT the counterweights on the stock stroke crank are appropriate for a stroker crank and are too big for the standard stroke crank. If you buy one, expect to pay for weight removal during the balancing process and mine had to be straightened as well. The oversized counterweights made us trim away some of the block as well. Check their website, 440source.com, as they do carry a very long list of parts you might need.

Yeah. Poor conditions. But on the flip side there are millions of people there that don't earn anything at all.

Look. I don't like things getting too political on here. It is a good way to start arguments. But I guess companies don't count. So i will allow it.

I saw a documentary about the Coca-Cola company the other day. How until recently they were one of the most racist employers.
Also how in third world countries like India and South America they illegally employ children in the sugar cane fields and either use up all the ground water that villages need for drinking and crop irrigation, or they dump toxic waste (caustic soda) into the rivers so people come out in a rash if they get wet and all the fish die.

This is a company that is planning to spend two billion Dollars this year on advertising. Yet they keep whole communities of workers in toxic slums earning a dollar for every two tons of sugar cane they cut.

There have been many calls to boycott Coca-cola. It seems to fall on deaf ears though.

The dude that 'invented' the coca-cola bottle is Chapman Root. His family is heavily involved in racing at Indy/sprints I have seen many of his cars. The bottling plant is also located in Terre Haute, Ind. lots of neat history there. I dont drink it, nasty stuff,(soda pop),! They are not the only company that exploits the citizens of third world countries for profit and gain, name me a global company that hasnt done that.

Yeah you are right. Take Pharmaceutical companies for example.

But Coke have plants in every country in the world and have a long history of exploiting poor areas. Not just that but knowingly breaking the law in many cases. There have been calls to boycott Coke since the 60s. Dr Martin Luther King himself called for a boycott.

Your history is impressive Dave! yeah, now that you mention that I remember when I was a kid there was a 'hoo doo' about Coca-Cola. We couldnt afford Soda Pop when i was a kid. We drank Kool-Aid! Now with 'Rumsfeld' disease,(Asparteme poisoning), affecting millions, the soda pop companies are all in the same boat. Wait till the Lawsuit. A few years ago, I saw the English Couple who countersued McDonalds Empire (successfully mind you), for promoting that McDonalds foods would make one sick if eaten regularly. They beat the Billionaires at their own game. When it came to testify, the doctors/Lawyers representing McDonalds were made to sound assinine compared to these simple "commmoners" who had hard facts documenting the medical community worldwide as stating McDonalds was bad for you.
