The company Nyköpings Automobilfabrik (ANA) started in 1937. ANA assembled and marketed a number of car brands, among them Chrysler and Plymouth. In 1960, the company ANA was taken over by SAAB and became a wholly owned subsidiary under the name SAAB-ANA, which accounted for sales and service of Saab, Plymouth and Dodge. This relationship lasted during the sixties. I hope this explains your question. (The photo is from the mid sixties.)

Yep, that answers it nicely thanks :D
I guess it's because they were, by American standards, a compact car that they got exported to mainland Europe.
I remember seeing AMC dealerships here in England when I was a kid in the '70's.
Magazines and papers carried ads for Ambassadors, Ramblers, Cherokee's etc.
What were the domestic Mopars in Sweden? In England they were badged Hillman, part of the Rootes group, later renamed Chrysler then Talbot before its demise in the mid '80's.

I do not exactly know what mean. I have understood that Plymouth Valiants were very popular in Sweden in the sixties. Between 1960-1964 they were called Chrysler Valiant over here. After that Plymouth. They were also used as police cars. (From the link below: The Valiant had a very good reputation for reliability, they said that “It was so good that even a cop couldn't break it.”)

To me that is just an european car with a Chrysler badge on it (also called "badge engineering"...). I am sorry to say it, but that is not my favourite type of car. :|

I have never seen the last four ads before. I am really pleased with my find. Look at the red Challenger with the sewing machine beside it - Isn´t it Dodge Dart only hub caps? I have never seen them on a Challenger before, not as far as I can remember.

Mopar Performance Buyer Beware

Postby cv70chall » 24 Apr 2015 13:17

Let me go on record by saying that I have had nothing but trouble with Mopar Performance parts- mainly their aluminum valve covers.
I've now gone through my second set- and both have leaked- with the second set actually having a hairline crack near the passenger side rear corner.
Ridiculous!
So, I'm going with a more reliable steel/chrome valve cover and have learned my lesson.

The worst part about Mopar Performance is.... NO WARRANTY. Sold "As-Is", so watch your back if you decide to buy any of their products.
If you're going to claim you have a reliable and reputable product, then stand behind it..
Idiots.

MP products have been junk for years. It seems when they got rid of the Direct Connection is when the quality really slid downhill, though it started sliding near the end of DC also.
