It struck me that it is possible to add two or more pic´s side by side in Irfanview.

This is how you do:
1) "Image/Create panorama image..."
2) "Add images"
3) Choose pic
4) "Add images"
5) ...and so on if you like to add three or more pic´s side by side.
6) "Create image"
7) "File/Save as"

You can see the result in the following three scans. Quite acceptable if you ask me.

A graphical illustration from Car Craft, April 1970. The article is about Pomona ´70. "NHRA´s Tenth Annual running of the Winternationals was the best yet". I wish I had been there. :|

A link to the Rapid Transit ad feels like a good idea. Here it is: http://challenger.mpoli.fi/forum/viewto ... 0568#20568

Last, but not least, The Scat Pack Ad!

Don Garlits tests Challenger R/T: Says it´s "triple tough".

Cooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

That´s all folks! It seems like I have run out of ads for the time beeing. I hope you have enjoyed this thread. Naturally I will post more scanned ads if I get my hands on them.

Thanks Chrippa! It was actually you who started this avalanche of adverts, remember? :D (You wanted some ads to your own homepage.)

I am not perfectly pleased with the quality of all of the scans. I have tried to use the scanner in a black/white mode sometimes. To use colour-mode seems to be working best most of the time, though. If anyone knows if there are any settings or any setups that gives scans of better quality, please let me know.

Well, I guess I wasn´t perfectly true (bad memory or too much stuff laying around?) when I said that I had run out of ads..... :s022: Sorry! :s005: Here are two scans from the swedish sales broschure: :D ( http://challenger.mpoli.fi/forum/viewto ... 1053#21053 )

....and three scans from the Dodge Material ad.

Note the position of the Pentastar on the right-hand front fender. The first scan and the car on top of the third scan are the best sources I have found so far, regarding the position of the pentastar.

Christer,
Thank you for the scans from the swedish brochure. You made me very happy. Too bad I lost that auction a while a go, I was so close to getting it myself.

Guess if I was happy when I found the brochure on a swap-meet (Classic Motor in Örebro)? :D  I even got it for pennies!
