Cartoons

Postby jr » 24 Nov 2003 9:40

Tried to find english version but failed so here's quick translation:

1. Ernie
2. Damn!
3. Hey, my battery is dead. You got cables?
4. Thanks for helping.
5. You got good old american car. Are you sure it has enough power for mine as well?
6. Heh heh heh. Power!
9. It was like connecting Chernobyl to Duracell Bunny.

Text on 5th image claims it's Ernies 1975 DeSoto. That should say 1957, don't know why translator decided to change it. Click image to get full size one.

This one is really fun. I hope that no one takes offence by it. (I did send it on to my girlfriend and it sure gave her a good laugh.)

I laugh every time they play that on the Bob and Tom Show (here in the states). loved the cartoon! Everybody needs a little laugh at todays serious society every once in a while. 8)

This link is quite amusing (even though it is NOT about one of our favourite brands) 8) Do not forget the sound. Note: I have no idea if all that is written in the link below, is true or not.

This is a Honda auto commercial that ran in the UK.
As you watch it, keep in mind that this is all real. It took 606 takes
over 4 days to accomplish. There was no trick photography, video editing,
or computer generation.

This first link is to the commercial itself.

This link is the explanation of how it was done.

Here is a very simple game. Just use the left mouse button. We all need a laugh every now and then, eh? My personal best is 317.3. Enjoy.

BTW, It is maybe wise to let you know that I LOVE pets and animals. This is just fiction...aah, you know what I mean.

Since Dave´s record seems pretty tough to beat (not impossible at all... :) ), I have suggestion: Everyone except the record holder (Dave) are allowed to use this slightly (hrrrrmm...) modified version of the game. Fair and square, Dave? :D

Hands up how many of you couldn't see that one coming?

Non of you?

So how come these dudes didn't see it coming? It beggars belief doesn't it. None of those guys possess a handful of brain cells or even a shovel??

But then again, that time I had an accident in the Challenger and the "Roadside Assistance" guy tried to pull me onto the road, the idiot hooked the tow strap to my front valance. As soon as he started moving I saw it bend so I shouted for him to stop. I had whiplash but I pushed the tosser out of the way and looped the strap around the k-frame. It is still not quite straight despite me kicking it many times. :?

You can install additional programs to handle it or use basic Windows features. I just clicked Alt+PrintScreen, pasted screen to Paint and saved as JPEG.

I think it works good without Alt.

Yes it does, but when you hold ALT it grabs only active window. Without ALT takes screenshot of entire screen including taskbar and other junk.

I see.... You learn something new each day. That´s fun :D !

BTW, I have heard quite a lot about a new computer virus. Actually, I think I got it in my maibox today, but luckily the attachment had been removed when I got the mail.

I have learned (the hard way) to use a firewall and a good anti-virus program. Take care of your computer :!: ...or you regret that you didn´t afterwards.....
