I was chattin to a mate of mine at work earlier and he said he remembered seein a pic of a 71 Pace car that had done its outing lap and then run straight into the press box!!
I tried to look it up on the interweb, any body heard if it?

Ive always known about the crash , but never have seen a picture of the actual car or accident..

That thing really slammed into the box and track crowd didnt it? I'd just assumed it had made a wobbly trip off the Tarmac but never realised it nearly caused multiple fatalities! No wonder the Dodge boys were embarrassed, who could sell a car that can't stop?!
