				Old School Aluminum Slots

				I'm looking for a set of Aluminum slotted mags in either 15x4x4 1/2 or 14x4x4 1/2 in good condition. These are the Old School Slots that were popular back in the 60's and 70's. I would prefer not to use uni-lug wheels if I don't have to. I have the rear set just need the front. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. I've been watching Ebay for sometime now and haven't found them. Any and all help welcome. Thanks.

				Have you got a good photo of your existing wheels?
There were many wheel companies making these in the 70s. They can differ slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer.

				The wheels I've got now I bought used. They are 15x9x4 1/2. I don't know the brand and it's not on the back of the wheels. I'm hoping to find a set for the front that is close to matching the rear. Any leads would be appreciated. I've attached a couple of pics of the ones I have now.

They may be. Like I said I haven't been able to find any brand name on them anywhere. I've been looking at different aluminum slots trying to identify them but so far I haven't had any luck. I'm just hoping I can find a front set that at least comes close to matching the rear. As long as any differences aren't real obvious I can live with that. It's awful hard finding them in good shape nowadays and not that many companies if any are still making them now. I've always liked the older slots and they are the right period wheel for the car so I was hoping someone here could point me toward a good set. I'm still hoping. Come on guys, I know there's a set out there somewhere.

				They come up now and again on UK ebay. But the shipping would kill you.

Example;
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/slot-mag-alloy-wh ... 240%3A1318
...and
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WOLFRACE-SLOT-MAG ... 240%3A1318
But finding the correct bolt pattern and offset is even harder.

				Yours are in beautiful shape. It will be VERY difficult to find original wheels in that sort of condition.

Thanks. They are better than most I've seen lately. It may take a while but I'll find the ones for the front to match them. I was really hoping some of the board members would be able to help out but so far I'm still looking. I know they're out there it's just a matter of finding them. It's just gonna take patience.

				Your wheels sure look sweet, but don't give up if they look a bit worn... You can easily polish those kind of wheels look like brand new again
