Firm Feel Steering Box

Postby 78mako » 11 Apr 2009 8:11

I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction. I'm looking for a Firm Feel Power Steering Box for my 72 Challenger. I've been told they don't make them anymore but I'm not sure. I haven't been able to locate one so if anyone knows where I can get one or has one for sale at a descent price let me know. Thanks.

Why don't you just ask Firm Feel?

http://www.firmfeel.com/e.htm

or try Flaming River?

http://www.flamingriver.com/

The Flaming River stuff you can get from Summit Racing at a good price.

I think the firm feel Inc. rebuild/revalved box is cheaper at $325. You have to send them your old one though other wise another $175 core.

Last I checked they said both 70-(72?) and 73-74 boxes are available.

Thanks for the replies guys. I checked out the Firm Feel web site and I think I'm gonna go with the fast ratio pitman and idler arms. At least for now. I may eventually go with a completely new steering box but I'll wait to see how the new arms feel first. I appreciate the info. Thanks.
