Jon, I wouldnt trust myself with your intake at all. I'm an amatuer at best. You need someone who knows how to weld alluminum and I am just beginning to learn the 'Art' of welding. Welding alluminum correctly takes a special heated fixture to pre-warm the alloy and a jig to prevent warping. And you must clean the alloy of all contaminants. Then there's the TIG process, filler rod, heat control, current control, ect..I would ruin it for sure.
