72-74 e-body washer reservoir / bottle / jar

Postby uk73andy » 22 Apr 2015 20:12

I don't suppose anyone has got one of these in reasonable condition? Mine is getting really brittle and is splitting at the seams. I found new ones on ebay, the cheapest being about $45 / £30 + shipping from the States... does anywhere have them cheaper? I don't need the motor / pump, as an external pump has been fitted on the inner fender.

Thanks

Check these links:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/72-74-Chrysler- ... e8&vxp=mtr

These are new. Usually, the ones you find used are in close to the same shape as yours, and usually near the same price.

You can always repair that corner with some fiberglass.

Thanks, I'm already looking at new ones on ebay... it's not just that corner that is the problem, it's leaking around most of the seam, and is generally cracked and brittle. It was already leaking when I removed it from the car and promptly put my finger straight through the brittle plastic to make that hole! It looks like it's already been repaired in the past with sealant, so a new one is probably the best solution.
