Drew i don't like trans coolers that run through the radiator.

Much better to run a small plate type cooler just in front of it. They are on the more pricey side for oil coolers but boy do they work great.

I have both since it get so friggin hot here, we need all the cooling we can get ,plus the dense air molecules dont know where to go anyway

FOOK, I forgot it's for a manual trans. But Dave's right as usual, the transmission fluid running the radiator can only get as cool as the hot fluid that the rad is running at. Much more efficient to use a well placed stand alone cooler. I tried to send you a PM drew, damned thing is hard to.... anyways, I have a guy asking bout it. If he doesnt come thru I will send it Denver!

Yes I can see the fluid getting hot from the rad. but it is just a street driver, I will do an external cooler like my chally ,as well as an external oil cooler they work very well,

But for street use the stock set up works too

The real way to know is to have a temp gauge for oil and trans. I am not that ambitious,and where do you put all those gauges?

Ed you need the money more than I need the rad at this point so you might leave it up here for now and let someone that can use it for Emanuels car let em buy it

There have been cases if the lines through the radiator leaking. Resulting in water being pumped around the trans. = completely trashed trans.

When I said the small plate type coolers are efficient and work well I really meant it in my usual straight talking way. I fitted a small one in line with my normal trans cooler as the temp was getting up to 240 degrees. It brought the temp down to 130F and even under hot conditions drag racing never went over 160F.

This type. But they come in different lengths and heights (number of plates).

They are the most efficient heat/air exchangers possible.

Yes but that type is crap. Having used the plate type once I would never use a different type.

I just used that as an example , to show Wayne what they were,AND FOR STREET DUTY THEY ARE NOT NEEDED,as I said before
