I figured I would post the final photos taken after we got the hood decal installed and bodywork all done. The next projects include:

Upgraded Intake
Tuned Carb
Upgrade to 3:23 or 3:55 Posi

...and save up for the 440.

Chuck you've done a hell of a job mate
Love the coloured bumpers, I liked that on davemans Chally too.
Unless you want to build some monster stroker then save ya money for gas and enjoy a well balanced street machine, it looks the bollocks mate

Only the front bumper on my car Ade as it was plastic.

I imported a new rear bumper in the early 90s (you couldn't get a front bumper) before internet ordering and stuff just coming through customs "by itself".
When the bumper was overdue I had a hell of a time tracking down where it was.
After a lot of phone calls over two days I eventually found it in a shipping company office at Newcastle Airport. They said they had been calling me every day for a week and had decided I must have gone "out of business" because there was never an answer during working hours. They had put it in storage and were trying to contact the USA to see if the supplier wanted to pay to ship it back.

I explained to them that I was not a "company" and was not at home during the day. I was importing the bumper privately. They then tried to charge me for a weeks storage. But I played hell about that as they had never left a message on my answer phone and they dropped that charge.

It is amazing how easy it is to buy stuff in other countries now. I don't think people realise how hard that sometimes was just 20 years ago.

At that time, I used to throw myself over my monthly car magazine to see if there were any interesting stuff for sale. Usually it wasn´t and/or they were overprized. I don´t do like that any more.

I have always liked the black stripe/bright colour combo. It never gets wrong, especially not on a Challenger. :D A good choice.

This were taken this past weekend after I got a nice wash and polish on her and took her to two local shows.
The weather's finally getting nice enough to drive with the windows down (I have to anyway causes the A/C isn't fixed yet!).
