My Challenger is finally back home.

Postby KISSAlien » 03 Nov 2011 21:35

Some of you may remember that my Challenger has been undergoing restoration for the last 2 1/2 years. It's not quite complete as there are now pieces on it that looked good before the resto, but now look out of place. But it's home. Here's a few pics.

The resto shop gave me this cool plate that someone gave to them. They took it to a cruise to test it out and someone folowed them home to give it to them. To me that's a cool story.

We took it to a Mopars in Motion show on the way home from the resto shop.

They gave us best of show, which is very nice of them, but I'm not much into trophies.

Great color! And i guess the pink on pink stripe is rather uncommon...

Last I heard, there are only 6 or 7 legit cars in this combo KNOWN.

Absolutely stunning car :s007: I love the color/stripe combo. They make a 1:18 car with that color/stripe combo but without the vinyl top and with a black Shaker. They also make a Panther Pink T/A no no vinyl but with black stripe and black T/A hood

Yes, they actually used pics of my car when they announced the diecast R/T. They didn't have pics of the actual car they made.
