Thanks Ade and Pat! Pat,,I think I am going to call Don at FBO and send back the excellent Distributor he sent me for when I did the dyno testing on this engine. I want a vacuum advance dist. because this is going to be used 99% on the street and long road trips. I will also ask him about the phasing,,,I have been looking at the Fire Core Dist. I'll ask him if that's a better choice then his MoPar unit. Either way thank you for excellent advice!! I will heed it! Thanks again,,,Ade and Pat!

I am gonna hook up the tie rod,,brakes, front brake lines,bench bleed the master,, then Hyd. clutch, then buy a set of Nitto Front tires, roll the car over to my new shop, and on the rack,,next part to get is the fuel tank and lines,,regulator. I also want to weld in the subframe connectors while it's on the rack. I would like to get it fired up by Christmas

I'm going to buy a set of ART connectors or make my own. Havent decided yet. I have some steel stock .120 thick,,just need a plasma cutter and my welder. I wont be using the contoured type,,I had those then sold them they are weak and heavy. They neck down to a skinny section at the front. Plus my floor pans are done and painted/undercoated. No,,I love those fender braces,,but I'll pass on them for now. I need to do what Drew told me. Focus on getting it done,,,started up,,,road tests,,breakin the rear end,,brakes,,, Trans,,,and work out any bugs for the 2015 VP trip

No,Dave the vette will clear just fine! My HellCat will have to clear as well,,I'm fabbing some Ramp extensions,, 3/16 thick steel plate,re-inforced on the Bottom with 90 angle"Iron" We did this at school,,my Lift is the same model,,this worked great! Vettes,,Vipers,,SRT's and even fords cleared it

My front Brembo's were 'rubbing' I assumed the Calipers needed centered,,but when I mounted them over the rotors,,they appeared on center. The cause was improper adaptor geometry ,,incorrectly machined,,one end was closer to the hub centerline than the other. New CNC'd adaptors go on Tomm. Dr. Diff sent me new ones. Free of course, my Kit was the very 1st to sell,,current kits are corrected.

There's always some fettling with parts in the aftermarket industry so I'd sort of accept if I have to mill odd pieces etc, but these Dr.Diff people seem to take their quality and development pretty seriously, I'm impressed Ed

New CNC'd Billet Alloy Caliper Adaptors from Dr. Diff,,spins freely and is centered now!

What size rotors did you use in the end Ed? 11.75"? I used 10.95" ones on my car but now I've got the bearing adaptors fitted I could drop the larger diameter rotors on and use the same caliper as you.
Does Cass do those as a seperate item?
