I think it would be a great idea Jeff. E-85 would easily support 10:5 to 1 or even much higher than that! It is used a lot in Supercharged, Turbo, and 14:5 to 1 Comp ratio engines. Ethanol based fuels are detonation 'resistant' due to the much cooler combustion and the fact thats it's 105 Octane. You could even see a horsepower/torque increase and I bet it would 'cure' any pinging issues. My modified E-85 Holley was only 540.00 bucks and worked very well out of the box. Eric at Horsepower Innovations built my E-85 Carb. http://www.horsepowerinnovations.com (dont blow a jizz valve when you see the gm car)

I'm hoping this will do it for a few years before, I put her on the spit! :| That 73 looks very nice! Again, enjoy yourself. I'll call you next weekend unless, you want to call my cellphone. I have a good one. LOL! And again, drive safe!

Thanks Pat, I will either call you today or next weekend. The Chally is a 1972 Model, the title says so! It's better than the pics reveal, there isnt any rust issues at all, the paint is decent, the trim and chrome are outstanding! The interior is sweet, but it's coming apart for the subframe connectors and torque boxes and I am gonna weld a skid plate to the K-member like my 70 . It's got power steering and manual front discs but that will change to power brakes and Cop Car rotors. The wife told me she wants to drive it and wants a auto tranny installed! More the reason to stay with a manual gear box! She has already wrecked her new 2011 Dodge Journey by driving into a tree. Thanks for the hospitality Drew! We both had a blast in denver and cant wait to return! This time the '72' will get driven out West for Vanishing Point part II with 500 cubes, RS 5-Speed with .67 overdrive, H.D. suspension ect

I get a process called "Hollow-Tine Aeration done on my lawn once a year. It reduces soil compaction allowing the grass roots to spread and gain better acess to air, nutrients and moisture.

Eddie that Chally looks awesome. I am getting a bit of hassle from Diana about coming over for another road trip but I am working on her.

Dave & Wayne--Good Luck with the Missus,, I really hope you 2 can make it--wont be the same without you dudes plus how the hell am I gonna drive this beast out West by my lonesome. I would get lost a dozen times for sure plus with my 40 MPH driving style... . I put the 72 next to my 70. I am very grateful to have such good mates. Drew found this Gem for me, Jim helped me get it home. Lisa made sure I didnt get lost again. I am going to leave it white. I will order frame connectors from XV and the torque boxes from ART along with their skid plate. I want to remove the undercoating from the whole car and coat it with Duraliner then paint it white. It will never rust with that stuff and look factory kinda. This car will be driven in the rain or snow,,yearround just like Drew's. :s004:
