I'm on the list! I gave them my CC number, my address and my MoPar Reputation  Yeah, it's all USA made by Liberty Gear&Transmission. They are an old company with a lot of industrial knowledge and they make some really big heavy duty stuff. The trend in internal rail gearboxes is to use a stout casting and an internal support for the main shaft. Keisler claims it will be released this Fall. Cant wait! I mocked up the sway bar and brackets. It measured just like Firm Feel said it would approx. 3 1/2 inches from the 1st rubber bump stop bolt. I'm gettin all excited! I cant wait to turn those Nitto's into black goo and get chased by the Colo. State police! :D ( I'll just tell em my name is Dave Robson and I'm on some serious psychotic meds)

I finally got the K-member done! I welded gussets in the steering box mount, as well as the strut rod and lower control arm areas, skid plate too and welded along the seams and re-welded many areas that were suspect. I painted it chassis black.

Nice work Ed, just fully welding the factory joints is supposed to help front end stiffness and alignment by a huge amount.
Do you remember the post I put up a year or two ago where my k member needed the lca's inner support tube welding back in? The weld had simply snapped off due to poor manufacture, can you imagine what that would have done for alignment?

Thanks Ade. I do remember when you had that problem! It's because of that, Drew's advice and reading Andy F's B-Body Perf. Mods Book that I decided to do this. I am going to box the lower Control arms and use FF adjustable strut rods and Tubular Upper control arms. I havent decided what type of lower control arm bushing material to use. Nylon or Poly..the nylon can be lubed as the poly too, I think I'll ask Dick Ross how the nylon stacks up in durability against the Poly. I really only want to do this 1 time.

I sold my rear sump oil pan and then I ordered the Milodon Road Race oil pan, 1/2" Mil pickup, Fel-Pro (Ray Barton), B/RB one piece re-usable gasket. The pan was over 400 bucks! Last parts till Winter! I'm broke! EddieOut  :s006:

Are those head gaskets like the Cometic ones Ed? Do you still need to run a windage tray with that Moroso setup? Sounds the biz tho mate, you may have run out of dollar now but you ain't run out of enthusiasm eh?

Thanks Ian, yeah it should run pretty good. I'm glad to hear your adrenaline rush is well and doing fine. :) Ade, the gasket is a combination of cork/rubber/steel, it's not a Multi layer, but does have steel limiters for the torquing and is a 1 piece design special made for Ray barton Racing hemi's. It's also quite reasonable at only 16.00 dollars. They discontinued the Flat-Out rubber coated steel gaskets, both the .050 and the .100 thick ones. Bummer, they were the best gaskets to use for the moPar oil pan. Yes, I am re-using my Milodon windage tray, probably a good idea for a Canyon carver. I also have a main webbing girdle .250 thick on there. For when I place a set of ported CNC Indy EZ-295's on there eventually. This way down the road but I would like a 700 HP street engine eventually. All Motor with a hyd. cam too! Here is a pic of the girdle mock-up clearance check,,before I put the rods&pistons in.

I'll put a pic of the gasket and the Oil Pan, pickup tube when I get them in a few days. Yeah lots of money but I want a bulletproof oiling system, brakes, K-member, suspension, women ett

And thanks for the pic I just realized I have to drill a hole in our new trunk floor for the sending unit wire...............now I just have to figure out where...ahh some place close otta do it :D

that rear end looks awesome Ed :!:

Thanks Drew! Here are the parts, Pro-Touring Pan,(7 Quarts) plus filter, 1/2 pick-up, Fel-Pro (Ray Barton), gasket. Now I gotta remove the 3 and 4 main studs, to clear the pickup tube/main studs as it gets screwed in.

After discussing my windage tray concerns with Adrian, I decided to mount the Milodon Pro-Touring Pan without a windage tray. I never bought into the windage tray deal anyways..(A crank scraper yes, but the tray is a crutch for the small, open pans for the time.) Here is a pic of the 1/2" tube installed and you can see that there is only 1/2 of clearance between the bottom of the tube and the top of the main studs. NO way will the tray fit under the tube,, I tried!

Cool Beans,, oh and I dont think oil rail studs are a good idea because the pan has to be angled a bit to center the pickup tube in the center of the sump. Placing and removing with studs would be a pain in the ass. I used 1/2 inch longer 5/16 bolts with a 1/2 inch head.

Beats me Drew. I'm kinda flyin blind here! But looking at my 70 with TTI headers it should. If it doesnt, I'll plug it and move on. It would be nice to have but without a thermostat controlled oil cooler it wouldnt help to know the temp. anyways  They make a cooler, lines, pump adaptor and bypass but you really only need that stuff for WOT circle track or competition roadracing duty. I'll be lucky to keep my foot into it for 20 seconds,,before I'm hauled off to the pokey!

Oh yea I had the same pan and I HAD the same plan..............but they wont clear so I plugged it

What type headers did you use? I plan on either TTI or Dougs. I can easily plug it. Thanks Bro,,

I have tti headers so you will have to plug it most likely
