They say it all starts at the quarters. Good to see they fit right.

I may need a passenger side fender sometime soon. Since you're into it now, what do you think works best?

How was the lower body line on the fenders? My Goodmark fenders were a 1/2" off in that area. The fenders had to be cut open and the body line moved down inline with the door. Maybe they fixed that problem already.

Your quarters are going to need some work in the fuel door area and right behind the side marker lights. That is were mine needed work. There are some raised edges in the main bodyline right behind the side markers. Mine were straightened out but I've seen a few cars where that wasn't fixed and it's pretty noticable.

Yes you have to watch that the fuel filler neck is deep enough. The repos tend to be too shallow and the flip gas cap sticks out too much.

Thank you guys, the fenders are not repos, they are off a 74 that my brother found for me in montana and a trunk lid all for 300 bucks. I need to check
the filler neck, this is good info.

Mike at RPC PERFORMANCE told me that the fenders fit really well.
How long ago did you order yours? the quarters I odrered about 5
weeks ago and all lines look great.

This picture of yours looks like there is a raised section behind the side markers. This is the same spot that needed fixing on mine.

Also, if you are planning on running wheel lip mouldings...I would suggest having them fitted to the quarters before the car is painted. If the quarters need any work to get the mouldings to fit...now is the time to find that out.

durdar, when you say raised do you mean up or out?

Most likely , thanks for the heads up on that.

By raised up...I mean UP not out. The body line isn't straight in that area like it should be. It didn't raise UP much...but it is noticable if it isn't fixed.

The car left for the bodyshop a year ago. The quarters were probably ordered at that time. I don't know if Goodmark has updraded there quarters since then or not. Maybe your quarter are OK in that area. I just wanted you know know about it so it could be checked out.

Keep posting updated pics. We all love seeing them come together!!!
