It drives very nice. Tight, with no roll and steers very tight, The gears come up pretty quickly, but when you hit 5th & 6th it drops the revs pretty far, we didnt rev the engine past 3500, I could tell that little Hemi begs to be cut loose, it's a good thing I dont own one. I would be in trouble with the coppers bad or ball one up in the twistys. 376 H.P. with a close ratio 6 speed is sweet. The 6.1 425 H.P. SRT would be heaven!!

Yeah, I wanted to hear that Lil, Hemi scream!! I was being nice! Thats how we "Hoosiers' say HI! (Seriously, that dude is a dickhead.) Drew, these 'open areas' around here are VERY Tempting!! Nice place for a Muscle car or Big Bore SportBike. Glad I got rid of my ZX-11, I would be dead by now if I still had it.

Dont get me wrong Pat, if it were mine, it would be back at the dealership, getting the PCM re-flashed with the latest upgrades.(Fuel&Spark Maps straight from MoPar perf. and the CAN-BUS Connector) :s024: New Stainless Hamburger SLP Exhaust, Comp XFI 280 Cam, Aircleaner, EBC brake pads, reduce weight gut the interior, ect blah blah//

scuse me for being a bit slow or behind the times here in Aust., but i thought they were not making any more Challengers, and that all the ones left sold like hot cakes since they were such good value? Are they doing bigger and better production runs now?

I assume they're still making them as I see new ones at the dealership up the street on a regular basis. Perhaps you're thinking the convertible? That supposedly has been axed (at least temporarily)

Well guys, I bought the TOR-RED SE last night. I just could not wait any longer and risk losing the Employee pricing, $1,000 rebate and 0 % financing that expires Monday. I did test drive an R/T 6 speed and all I can say is SWEET.
Eddie since I was not buying the R/T I did hammer it. This was a white hemi with 6 speed track pak as the only option. It would be a perfect car for the Vanishing point trip.

Smart move! Oh yes, that white 6 speeder, with the 5.7 Hemi would be the perfect VP car. Please post some close ups,(Of the car, not you)

Ok here is the scoop. It is a 2009 Tor Red SE. She has the 3.5L H.O. 4 speed auto tranny. Leather interior with satellite radio. The only other option is the Sun Roof. The first mod was to relocate the Challenger name to the proper side of the grille. The next mod is to add a 70 style R/T stripe Challenger script badging and a pedestal mount spoiler. The third mod will be dual exhaust with the 70 thru 74 style tips, and lastly I will lower her by about 1.5 inches.

Yes, she would be excellent on the V.P. trip, but Eddie ,Dave and I are sharing driving duties.
Unless Eddie buys a bigger trailer.

This summer my wife and I are planning to take her east to Williamsburg Virginia, and then south to Savannah Georgia, and eventually on to St Petersburg Florida.
